Offline Procedure
Applicant is required to fill the annexure H form Mamlatdar of the concern Taluka, click the link for the annexure H http://www.goacivilsupplies.gov.in/NewRC.aspx
Applicant has to attach the copy of Gas connection, Electrical connection or at least the Income Certificate.
In case of transfer the applicant have to submit a cancellation form which can be obtained from the mamlatdat of the concern taluka.
If cancellation form is not valiable, applicant should have to submit an affidavit with a photograph stating that applicant does not hold any ration card in any other state.
Once the application is submitted it will be forwarded for the further verification process. After the verification is successful ration card will be issued to the applicant.
No fee will be charged for the application.
Procedure to apply a duplicate ration card
If an applicant wants to apply for a duplicate ration card, he or she has to apply a certificate from the fair price shop.
Applicant is required to submit the affidavit stating the reason to apply for a duplicate ration card and details of the family members and the residential address.
Applicant have to attach a challan of Rs 1 in the Government treasury.
Duplicate ration card will be issued to the applicant in 7 working days and after getting the clearance report from the fair price shop.
Procedure to cancel the name in the ration card
Applicant is required to apply on a paper stating the name of a person which has to be deleted on the ration card.
The cancellation certificate should be issued to the applicant within 2 days.

Applicant can apply the ration card online through visiting the Official Sate website and fill the all the required columns.
Now card holders can update their details and correct any kind of mistakes in their ration card. The Civil Supplies Department has decided that Public Distribution System will be computerized.
Ration card is the oldest official government document in India. The primary reason behind issuing ration card is to purchase food grains like wheat, rice and sugar and kerosene at subsidized rates.
