Applicant living within the state is eligible for applying for a ration card from the state government. Applicant need to download the form or get in touch with the respective officer. Once the application form is submitted as per the Citizen charter provision district mamlatdars/Zonal officer examine the form and applicant residence.
Ration Card Application Form
On the given inputs, the concern officer categories the applicant's card. Bar Coded Ration Card
An official officer will visit door to door to help the existing ration card holders to fill up the form 1 for the bar coded ration card.
Digitization of form 1 and matching of card holder's family members details with EPIC from electoral roll.
Will take photos and bio-metric details followed by printing of Bar Coded ration card.
Tracking the Ration Card Status
The Gujarat Government introduced the online tracking of ration card application anywhere and anytime for its citizens.Now application status can be viewed through the government official website https://dcs-dof.gujarat.gov.in/index-eng.htm
Click on the 'Check/verify your Ration Card Status Online"
Choose "Details of your ration card" column and select the required option.
Click on search button.
Your details will be displayed on the screen.
You can also check the Ration card eligibility, area wise ration card details, LPG connection details and fair price shop details.
How to apply Ration Card in Gujarat
People can apply for a new ration card for that they have to fill the Form No. 2 which is available in the official website along the form they have to attach the below documents also.
Electricity Bill
Income Tax Pan
Bills of Property Tax
Driving Licence
LPG Passbook
Saving Account Passbook
Telephone Bill
Applicant details like name, age, sex, relationship details with the other persons have to me mentioned. If applicant living in a rented house, then rent receipts also be attached to be given. Scanned photos and finger prints should be added.
If ration card is damaged, the applicant should fill the Form No. 9 and submitted at the Zonal Office for the duplicate ration card to be issued.
If ration card holder wants to delete a name from the card Form No. 4 will be submitted at the zonal office.
